There's a reason Colombia is the most recommended coffee in the world. Balanced, naturally sweet, clean, and approachable without being boring — this is the cup that works for everyone, every morning, every brew method. It's the coffee we recommend most to people discovering specialty coffee, and the one seasoned drinkers keep coming back to when they want something reliably exceptional.
Why We Carry This
Colombia's Andes mountain range produces some of the most consistently excellent coffee on earth. Our Colombia is sourced from high-altitude regions — Huila, Nariño, Antioquia, Cauca — where elevations between 1,200 and 2,000 meters, rich volcanic soil, and consistent rainfall build natural sweetness and complexity in every bean. Washed and medium roasted, it's a cup that lets the origin speak clearly. Roasted fresh in Temecula, California — in most cases the same day it ships.
Flavor Profile
- Caramel sweetness — natural and prominent, no sugar needed
- Milk chocolate — smooth and rich, grounding the cup
- Mild citrus acidity — bright but gentle, adding liveliness without sharpness
- Medium body — substantial and satisfying
- Clean, long finish — no bitterness, just a pleasant lingering sweetness
The Process
Washed — the fruit is removed before drying, producing a clean, precise cup that highlights the bean's natural sweetness and the character of the origin. Washed processing is the standard in Colombia and is the reason the cup is so consistently clean and balanced.
Ingredients
Single origin specialty Arabica coffee, Andes mountain regions, Colombia. Washed process. Medium roast. Roasted to order.
Yield: ~17–24 cups per 12oz bag. Larger sizes scale proportionally.
How to Brew
Drip (Recommended) — One of the most drip-friendly coffees we carry. Consistent and delicious cup after cup. 1:15 ratio, medium grind. The caramel sweetness comes through clearly in any drip machine.
Pour Over — Highlights the clarity and sweetness with precision. 1:15 ratio, water at 200°F, medium-fine grind. Bloom 45 seconds. Total brew time 3–3.5 minutes. Exceptional black.
Espresso — One of our best espresso options. Caramel sweetness and mild acidity produce a balanced, approachable shot. Works beautifully straight or as the base for lattes and cappuccinos.
Cold Brew — Mild acidity and natural sweetness make this excellent cold-brewed. Smooth, sweet, and refreshing over ice. 1:8 ratio, steep 18–24 hours.
