Moroccan mint tea is one of the great tea traditions of the world — green tea and fresh mint, poured from height into small glasses, shared with guests as a gesture of hospitality. Our Moroccan Mint captures that tradition in a loose leaf blend: mellow green tea base, garden-fresh mint, and a crisp, refreshing character that works beautifully hot or iced. The cup that slows you down in the best possible way.
Why We Carry This
In Morocco, mint tea — called "atay" — is more than a drink. It's a ritual of hospitality, prepared with care and shared with guests as a sign of welcome. We built this blend to honor that tradition in a format that's accessible for everyday brewing. The green tea is smooth and naturally sweet, providing a gentle foundation. The mint is crisp and vibrant, adding brightness without overpowering the tea. Together they produce a cup that's refreshing, balanced, and genuinely pleasant — every single time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I add sugar?
Traditional Moroccan mint tea is served sweet. Our blend is naturally pleasant without sugar, but adding honey or sugar is authentic to the tradition — and delicious.
What temperature should I use?
175°F — not boiling. Boiling water makes green tea bitter and damages the delicate mint character. Let boiled water cool for 2–3 minutes before steeping.
Is it good iced?
Excellent iced — one of the best in our lineup. Brew double-strength and pour over ice. The mint is particularly refreshing cold. Add a squeeze of lemon to brighten it further.
Is it caffeinated?
Yes — Moroccan Mint is built on a green tea base. A typical cup contains approximately 25–35mg of caffeine — a gentle, focused lift without the intensity of coffee or black tea.
