Asia produces some of the world's most distinctive coffees — earthy, full-bodied, and complex in a way that's completely different from African or Latin American origins. Our Asian Plateau Blend celebrates that character: a medium-dark roast that combines the best of Indonesia, India, and the broader Asian coffee-growing region into a cup that's bold, layered, and deeply satisfying.
The Blend
Our Asian Plateau Blend draws from the region's most expressive origins — Sumatra, Bali, India, and Papua New Guinea — each contributing its distinctive character to the whole. The Sumatran component brings the earthy depth and syrupy body. The Bali component brings the volcanic smokiness. The Indian component brings the warm spice and full body. Together they produce a cup that's more complex and interesting than any single Asian origin alone.
Flavor Profile
Our Asian Plateau Blend delivers:
- Earthy depth — the signature character of Indonesian coffee, bold and distinctive
- Dark chocolate — rich and prominent, the backbone of the cup
- Warm spice — from the Indian component, adding complexity
- Smoky undertone — a subtle volcanic character from the Bali component
- Very low acidity — smooth and easy on the stomach
- Full, syrupy body — one of the heaviest-bodied blends in our lineup
How to Brew Asian Plateau Blend
French Press (Recommended) — The full body and oils come through beautifully without a paper filter. Use a coarse grind, 1:15 ratio, steep 4 minutes. Bold, earthy, and deeply satisfying.
Drip — Reliable and consistent. The earthy depth and chocolate notes come through clearly. Use a medium grind and a 1:15 ratio.
Cold Brew — The low acidity and bold character make it exceptional cold-brewed. The earthy complexity deepens during the long steep. Use a 1:8 ratio, steep 18–24 hours.
Espresso — Produces a bold, full-bodied shot with real intensity. Works well straight or as the base for milk drinks.

- Bold coffee drinkers who want maximum body and earthiness
- Sumatra and Bali lovers who want the full Asian coffee experience in one cup
